ABOUT
“FRYD” is a 6 minute 2D animated short film which explores the struggles of opening up about mental health struggles. Working together with new software from Kalio Animation, we had the opportunity to play with a unique visual style – which became our main passion for our graduation project.
Inspired by innovation and experimental styles in animation, we pushed for a bold, “blocky” visual style with a recognizable contrasting orange – blue color palette.
Our main characters AUGUST and FRYD are too created to contrast each other, in melancholy and joy, The Siren and the Prophet.
